2023 marked a landmark year for the Corvette with Chevrolet producing 53,785 units—the second-highest production volume in the entire 70-year history of the iconic American sports car, just 22 units behind the all-time record set in 1979. The 2023 model year introduced the highly anticipated Z06 variant, bringing a track-focused, widebody performance option to the mid-engine generation. The year also celebrated the Corvette's 70th anniversary with a special commemorative edition available across all body styles. Stingray models continued with the proven 6.2L LT2 V-8 producing 495 horsepower, while the new Z06 featured an advanced 5.5L LS7 engine with approximately 670 horsepower, bringing legendary naturally-aspirated performance to the mid-engine platform. Torch Red remained the dominant color choice at 7,895 units (14.7%), followed by Arctic White and Black.
